The national competition qualifying window runs from March until June each year. The purpose is to guide competitors to perform at the right time. This reflects the process of qualifying and then more importantly, performing at the Olympic Games exactly the right moment.
The Royal School has had an outstanding qualifying window phase with 14 swimmers making the British Summer Championships (in the top 24 swimmers in GB) which are held in July in Sheffield and nine swimmers qualifying for the Home Nations Summer Championships (the next fastest 24 swimmers in GB).
