The added bonuses of Boarding life at The Royal School

Living together in an environment organised around a set routine and expectations is sometimes challenging. The usual expression "home from home" to describe boarding life is far from the truth in many respects.  Behind the set of rules, there is a variety of personalities, backgrounds, languages, talents and skills, living together, learning from each other, learning to co-habit with their differences and forging friendships. It is immensely pleasing to see boarders creating connections beyond school and travelling to each other’s home cities and creating memories beyond school. The connections which are inherent to boarding life are not measurable nor graded, but are a significant asset to every young person ‘s development. 

Thank you boarders for having made 2023/ 2024 a learning year beyond the classroom for all involved.
