Events

Throughout the year, many school events take place. Each year group gets the opportunity to lead a celebration for families and friends in the School Chapel.

  • Reception – Nativity
  • Year 1 – Nativity
  • Year 2 – Easter
  • Year 3 – Harvest Festival
  • Year 4 – Foundations (History of School)
  • Year 5 – Penetcost
  • Year 6 – Carol Concert

Other events include Inter-House competitions such as General Knowledge, Music, Public Speaking, Art Competitions and a range of sporting activities.

Prize Day

Prize day is the highlight of the academic calendar and an opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements and successes of the pupils. This event takes place in the school chapel at the end of the summer term. Previous notable guest speakers include Benedict Allen and Alice Dearing. The speaker presents the prizes and share their motivational speech with pupils, parents and staff. 

Sports Day

A highlight of the summer term, sports day takes place on the primary field with all pupils from primary school participating in jumping, throwing and running races. Senior pupils often lead the activities, demonstrating their leadership skills.

 

 

 

Performing Arts

Musical extravaganzas, festivals, concerts and productions take place throughout the year allowing pupils many opportunities to improve their confidence and hone their musical, public speaking and acting skills. Keep an eye on the calendar for all the latest events taking place.
