At The Royal School Wolverhampton, the Computer Science and IT department offers a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum that equips students with the digital skills necessary for success in an increasingly tech-driven world. Beginning in Key Stage 3 (KS3), students take part in a technology rotation that covers essential topics such as e-safety, spreadsheet modelling, HTML, CSS, and both visual and text-based programming. This solid foundation prepares students for more specialised learning in later years.

For students progressing to Key Stage 5 (KS5), we offer A Level Computer Science and the Cambridge Technicals Level 3 in IT. These advanced courses enable students to further develop their understanding of key areas such as programming, systems architecture, and network security, while also exploring emerging technologies and data management. These qualifications prepare students for higher education and a range of careers in the IT and technology sectors.
