Royal Navy visit

On Tuesday 17th September, we welcomed a team of Royal Navy officers into school who spoke to our Year 7 students about the varying job roles and careers within the Royal Navy.

As part of the workshop, the year 7 students were set a challenge to work as a team to design and build a helicopter. The Royal Navy discussed with students the importance of using maths and science in the design and construction of the helicopters.

Students had a great time!
