Pupils at The Royal School are taught by a dedicated team of caring, committed professionals, each working hard in their specialist subject area to bring out the best in every child.
We offer a rich and varied learning experience, underpinned by our core values of respect, community, trust, initiative and risk. As well as acquiring knowledge and skills and, of course, preparing students for those all-important academic exams, we also aim to provide a supportive and nurturing environment. We want to see our pupils grow over the years into confident and mature young adults with an awareness of their own potential alongside an understanding and appreciation of the wider community.
My daughter has been part of the Royal school for the last 8 years ! She’s always felt safe and valued and enjoys being part of a community. It will be a sad day when she leaves the school to go to university, but we all have fond memories that will stay with us for years to come.
