Religious Studies

Religious Studies at The Royal

Religious Studies is the academic field of multi-disciplinary,  secular study of  religious beliefs, behaviour and institutions. It describes, compares, interprets, and explains religion, emphasising systematic, historically based, and cross-cultural perspectives and looks at the ethnics and philosophy of religion. We teach the course from Year 7 upwards with a GCSE option in Year 9 and 10.
