 Windsor House

Mrs Goodlad, Head of Windsor House, is a dedicated leader to the house, with over 20 years experience, knowledge and loyalty to both Windsor House and The Royal School. Making the most of the outdoors, including tending to an adored allotment, is something Mrs Goodlad prides herself upon during her spare time. Alongside this, Mrs Goodlad also finds enjoyment through swimming, cycling and running - achieving many awards and completing sporting events that display a devoted sense of commitment, in true Windsor Style.

Miss Jones, Assistant Head of Windsor House, joins Mrs Goodlad in the running of the house from September 2024, since moving from The Royal School's Primary School. Miss Jones enjoys spending time with students to build relationships, improve wellbeing and creating opportunities to reward successes across the house. Aside from school, Miss Jones enjoys spending time with her two dogs on walks and hikes around the country, sight-seeing and exploring new places.

Together, Mrs Goodlad and Miss Jones create a safe, welcoming house that allows every student to belong.

Aims and Values

We pride ourselves upon our ability to showcase the true meaning behind community, determination and personal growth. We take pride in calling Windsor House our home, where our diverse range of skills, background and abilities help us flourish within The Royal School community.

As every student assigned to Windsor House embarks on a new journey, no matter their starting point, students are encouraged to collaborate in every opportunity available and embrace it to the highest level. Kindness, respect and motivation is something which shines brightly throughout our house. 

We would like to proudly reflect on our achievements as a community so far. This academic year, we have already seen many sporting successes for Windsor House, inspiring trips where students have displayed an exquisite amount of mannerisms and perfect team-spirit throughout day-to-day school life.
