Applying for a place in our Primary School

Parents applying for Reception places in our Primary School must apply through Wolverhampton Local Authority.

You must compete the Authority’s generic application form known as the Common Application Form (CAF) which is available online via the link below. This form requires you to name five primary schools as your preferred choices. The Royal School must be included as one of your five preferences.

You can email us for information and guidance but the CAF must be completed and submitted directly to the Local Authority. They will then pass your application on to us.

In Year Admissions

If you would like to apply for a place at The Royal School for your child for a school year other than Reception, the process for applying is different to the above. This is known as an ‘In Year Application’. Please note that this is not undertaken with the school but through the Wolverhampton City council.

Please read and apply through: Wolverhampton In Year Admissions
