Hello and welcome to The Royal School PTA.

The Parent Teacher Association proudly brings together a team of committed and friendly volunteers, to help raise funds and run social events to strengthen and showcase our school community.

Our members organise a number of highly successful social events throughout the academic year for all families to enjoy.

The funds raised at these events help to provide additional educational items which contribute to enhancing pupil’s extracurricular experiences and memories during their time at The Royal School.

PTA Social Events at The Royal School

After a challenging few years, we are excited to have a full calendar of social events planned for the academic year. Annual highlights include a Summer fête, an Autumn Lights firework display and a Christmas fayre.

The PTA also provides refreshments and delicious baked goods at school concerts, presentations and sporting events.

Recently the PTA organised the Royal Jubilee fete; it was an outstanding success, raising £2100, a significant sum to support the school.

Pupils enjoyed traditional game stalls, bouncy castles and face painting and had the chance to take part in a fashion show inspired by Commonwealth countries' traditional dress.

 

Pre-loved Uniform Shop

The PTA are proud to have a huge selection of excellent quality, pre-loved uniform available for both primary and secondary school pupils.

Our shop has a variety of uniform for all ages, sports wear and accessories.

All items have kindly been donated and are sold for just 25% of the original retail price.

Items are available at school events and a form can be requested from reception or downloaded below.

If you require a specific item please email preloved@theroyal.school

The PTA always appreciate donations of uniform and these can be delivered to the primary school reception.

The committee is elected every year and is made up of parents, carers and staff from the Royal community. Meet our current committee members. 

 

Get involved:

We are always keen to welcome new members and rely on support from volunteers at our fundraising events.

Are you able to spare a few hours to run a raffle or refreshment stall at one of our events?

You can also help by donating prizes or helping to source donations from local businesses.

Our PTA meetings are held once a term where members can offer their professional experience and skills to the committee.
